Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)

This sub-segment of cloud computing represents an on-demand software service. With Saas, the selected provider hosts the customer’s data. This means that it is not stored internally, but externally in the clound. The software required for this is usually offered as a lucrative subscription. In this way, the customer can save the acquisition costs for IT resources, such as hardware or own software licenses. The software provider also takes care of the maintenance of the external servers. At the same time, the customer benefits from effective data processing and visualization as a result.

Due to the cloud solution, the Saas applications can be viewed from anywhere there is an Internet connection. This creates optimal access for teamwork. In addition, due to the easy scaling of the need for software, precise budget planning is possible.
